Saffell & Martin
Post by Bill Kibby »
The majority of piano names are not listed on the internet, see the items at the top of the forum. Saffell & Martin were in Scotland around 1910, but don't seem to appear in any of muy Birmingham lists so far, until after 1936. In 1938, they were at 118 Dale End. They seem to have disappeared after the war, so if your piano is a true antique, it was probably sold secondhand by them after 1936. Are there any other names? Read on...
