Gustav Hagspiel Baby Grand Piano
Hello everyone,
I've recently come across a Gustav Hagspiel Baby Grand Piano. Now this piano is up for sale for $4,500.00. I wanted to get some opinions from some proffesional pianists, this piano is from 1880...Is $4,500.00 a fair price for this sort of Piano, is it too expensive or is it cheap?

Hi Adeline,
The price will reflect in its condition and any previous work done to it internally aswell.... so a single photo is not sufficient, just to say the exterior looks genuine and probably in good condition. No one can guess it's true value - you would need to get it inspected - most important to check the tuning stability & pin torque. Also need to see any advertising / notes, and origin of the piano (where in the world).
Also this is a UK based forum, so all prices should be converted into the British UK Pound Sterling.
