Yamaha Clavinova CVP 201

My Clavinova has developed an annoying fault if "effect" or "reverb" selected manually or automatically by "accompaniment" or an instrument such as "organ" there is a loud static type hiss. Can anyone suggest what to try. I have used thr factory reset to no avail. Thanks in anticipation.
