Digital piano Korg LP-380 vs. Yamaha YDP-52S
Hello,
I would like to buy digital piano for my daughter for music scool. Also for my pleasure...I have doubt between Korg LP-380 and Yamaha YDP-52S. I would like to have a better piano sound and keys like on original acoustic piano.
I would like to read your opinions.

What age is your daughter, and is she a beginner at piano?

That's fine, any decent digital with weighted keys is ok for that age. After a couple of years (if still learning), your daughter will develop her touch on the piano, and also require the sustain pedal. Digital pianos ok for starter pedalling (for legato pedalling), but no good for advanced playing.... if she decides to do the grades. If just for fun / no piano exams, then fine. For later piano grades.... e.g. grade 5, the pedalling reflects in the marks a lot. If they learn on a digital, then suddenly do an exam on an acoustic piano - (one with proper strings/ dampers/ sustain pedal), then expect a lower mark.... depends on level of playing.
Hope she does well learning!
