Bluthner awards labels
We are doing up a Bluthner grand aliquot 70000 ish (1906?). However, on the belly varnished over, it lists prizes at exhibitions up to 1929!
Was there some skullduggery about this?

If you have a look about three-quarters of the way down my Exhibition page
http://www.pianohistory.info/exhibition.html
I say that when Bluthners reconditioned their own pianos, they renewed the labels, and therefore showed medals that were after the date of the piano.

If every visitor to my own website donated just one pound, we would have a proper museum building and much improved facilities for research within our own archives.

If there is a name and number for the action makers, that might help to confirm the date.
