Settergren baby grand

Post by tosti »

Hi! I recently bought a Settergen baby grand from bestshop-usa.com for my wife. The only number i can find on it is 6748. I've tried looking online but i can't find a definite answer to when it was manufactured, ect. Thanks for any help! :wink:

I've moved this post to Piano History, where you'll get a better response, Tosti.
I play for my own amazement... :piano;

I presume this is SETTERGREN? Based in Indiana, the number suggests 1926.

I've looked in the Pierce atlas.... may not be reliable, but if the number you give is the serial number, the date suggests 1926. Also please check the spelling of the piano.... I have "SETTERGREN"
Bill may be able to enlighten you further.... ah, I think our posts crossed!
