Yamaha C3 long term hire/loan
Not sure where to post this but here goes...
I have a very nice Yamaha C3, an early 2000s model. It's in excellent condition and is set up beautifully. Unfortunately circumstances dictate that I might not have the space for it shortly. Rather than sell it on I would prefer to loan/hire it out. Obviously it would need to be done very carefully and loaned to the right person; ideally a concert society, church etc or a very carefully vetted student.
Lots of disadvantages and dangers occur to me, so basically I'm after advice/suggestions.
Thanks all,
MV.

I do this a lot for my clients. However, I use families with kids or adults who would benefit having a grand but would not spend money on grand
you hire them the piano for £1.00 a year
They have to maintain it (with a tuner you chose ) and insure it
you do it in Blocks of 3 to 5 years
You get cheep storage, the piano is not over played or marked to hell like it would be in a institution you keep the piano till you decide what to do.
best working with your tuner
I have about 10 out manly big grands one client had one for over 20 years you use the tuner to keep an eye on it for you not had any problems.

Thank you so much Barrie. I will contact my fab tech in Brighton to see if he knows of a suitable client. With instruments like this I think it would be madness to sell and this seems a really neat way of keeping it without it being destroyed!

Re: Yamaha C3 long term hire/loan
Hi there, I am looking for a c3 to house in my studio for a year or so
I would be very interested in making a sensible offer/contract
I am a professional piano player and would look after the piano very well
Best

Since this subject is over a month old, you may be advised to contact Model V either by email or PM - see the icons on the right of screen.... that way, it may be quicker to sort something out.
