Sarah Garth Wicking Piano Patents

We have an ornate upright piano which has been in the family for a few generations. It was patented by S Garth Wicking of 190 Walworth Road S E and 261 High St Boro. It has an unusual glass keyboard cover.

How fabulous - I wonder if the glass fall is original or if a later owner had it made...or perhaps it was a one-off?

The glass fall is original. We believe it was made for an exhibition. It was left to my mother-n-law by her aunt. Will post in history section.
