Hardman Peck / Eavestaff
Post by Genevieve Cox »
I was reading your information about Eavestaff minipianos. You said that in the USA Hardman Peck & Co made Eavestaff minipianos under license in the 50s and 60s. My Hardman Peck Eavestaff minipiano was built in 1940. Serial number 132425. I've read on other websites that many where made in the 1940s. Was this not under license? I would think that it was, considering all the patent numbers and the royal stamps are on it? I had it appraised at $1,200.- $1,500.(US) Are they all worth so much, or should I get a second appraisal?

I didn't comment on the 40s, and didn't therefore say that they weren't under license then, I simply have no information about american pianos unless it turns up here! Valuation in impossible from here.
