Brinsmead Art Deco Model
Hi everybody!
I need your help, I'm desperately looking for the model number/name of my Brinsmead piano and of course I would also love to know the age.
I got it around 15 years ago when I started playing piano but my parents don't have any document, neither do I.
There is nothing written on the piano itself and I've already checked the "whole" internet but I didn't find any hint.
I will upload a picture and I really hope that someone can help me!
We changed the lampshades some years ago.
Thank you!!

Brinsmead Art Deco Model

Finding out the model won't tell you anything useful, because no archives are available for Brinsmeads, unless you are lucky enough to find one in an old catalogue or advert. See
http://pianogen.org/archives.html
If you open the top and look inside, you may see a serial number, which may tell us the date. It appears to be typical of Art Deco designs that were around in the thirties, by which time I believe Brinsmead pianos were made by Kemble. If that is the case, the number preceded by a letter K will be lower down inside, on the left at keyboard level. Kembles also made similar pianos with other names, such as Barnes or Squire.
When you say the whole internet, I bet you haven't tried Google Images, or you would have found some there, such as
http://www.deco-world.com/art_deco_kemb ... _piano.htm
For clues inside the piano, see

Re: Brinsmead Art Deco Model
Thank you very much for your reply!
I will look inside as soon as possible. Of course I've also checked the pictures but as I didn't know that it I have to look for Art Deco I didn't see anything similar.
So, thank you for the hint, I will check the websites and as soon as I know if there is any number inside of the piano I will post it here.

Re: Brinsmead Art Deco Model
I'm really sorry it took so much time until I got the number but I was ill and couldn't visit my parents.
But now I have two numbers written inside:
K50320 (written in the middle of the piano)
T2128 (written on the inner side of the frame)
Does anyone know something about this model?

I don't have any particular information about the model, what sort of details are you hoping for? It was sold under various names, including Kemble, Barnes, Squire and Brinsmead, and you can find some of these on Google Images. The K number suggests that your piano was made in 1935.

I tune a Kemble one with 1938 written on the label under the last key in the bass; get your tuner to look for you if you don't want to remove keys yourself.
I play for my own amazement...
