What's your education background?
Post by jamesgeorge »
I'm interested to know where some of you are coming from. In what type of system did you spend most of your years?

Why do you need to know? Personally, up to Masters degree, but I don't believe qualifications mean a lot - I know I'd be a dreadful teacher, for instance.
I play for my own amazement...

7 scottish standard grades, 5 highers, BA (hons) from the RSAMD, PG Dip from the RCM, and M.Mus from the RSAMD.
To be honest though..... not the most useful experience in my life (what can you do with a performance degree? not really worth the paper they're printed on).... don't tell anyone I said that though :p

Interesting...have you found enough results yet to spot a pattern emerging?

Depends on your self discipline - which is why I'm doing grades on classical guitar; makes me practice, for I am at heart a lazy mare.chrisw wrote:Sometimes think not attempting grades may be a mistake.
