Heywood

Post by Bill Kibby »

Many people are frustrated by the absence of a name on their pianos, but the truth is that the majority of names mean very little. Heywood & Sons is a perfect example, and although there are some originals around, it is one of many names which are available as a cheap transfer to put on any piano when it is repolished. Any clues to its origin are probably hidden inside. I have no record of a real firm called Heywood. See
