It has been a long and rocky road folks,but just to update you, I am now the proud owner of a Yamaha s6 piano (couldn't stretch to the Steingraeber in the end. . . it being 9000 pounds more 'n all!), but I am very very happy with the Yamaha. Lovely tone, lovely action, at a good price.
Thanks to everyone for their helpful advice, especially PG . . . you really wound me up on occasions!, but I forgive you, Thanks. :D
