Bosendorfer year 1910 170cm

Post by monicav »

Can anyone tell me approx value of this instrument? .........newer model of viennese action with 88 keys, cross stringed construction. It has been completely restored, pins, strings, action, etc & is finished in black semi polished surface. It was not played too much as all ivory keys are in good condition.

Impossible without seeing it, but the Viennese action Bosendorfers are not well liked.

Curiosity value only I'd have thought.

I think it was a phase-out with the Viennese action and in with the Roller. You'll be hard pushed to find a Viennese action version post about 1910.
