Bluthner sustaining power
We have a new Bluthner Model 4 grand in our school hall. A few players have commented on a lack of sustaining power and a weakish bass. I like the instrument though when I use it for choir accompaniment I often find myself having to 'play up' even with the lid open.
I'd be interested to hear of your experiences of new Bluthner grands. Maybe I should have gone for a Yamaha in terms of versatility?
