where will i find the serial number? i guess it would be useful to have this. It is just that my old piano teacher reckoned it could be worth abit because it's 'unusual'. i dont know why as im not very experience piano knowledge wise although i do play! cheers in advance

In what way is it unusual? H. Zender was around from the late 1800s, and by the thirties, Sydney Zender seems to have replaced him. See

I have no idea what kind of Zender you are talking about, it could be 1890s or modern, or anywhere in between. They were never a top make, just an average commercial piano, value depends on your tuner's report.
