Hi,
can I suggest you tell us where you live? Helpful suggestions about teachers 200 miles away from you won't be too constructive!
regards
Steve

Hi Peter
Sorry....nothing to do with your request....but your last post made me nostalgic...I grew up in Feltham and used to ride my bicycle to Walton on Thames....many many many years ago.

Boogie Woogie
Hey. If you are interested in Blues/Boogie Woogie I could help.
I have 2 students learning blues. I am a very passionate (the most passionate) Jazz teacher you'll find. I live and breathe Jazz. I have a 100% success rate of students getting distinctions in ABRSM jazz exams, and all students have said they will recommed me to anybody.
If you are interested, I live next door to you (ish), in Weybridge. Private message me, or email me, and Id love to help you out.
Regards,
Dan.

Boogie and blues
Post by Bill Kibby »
As a musician and a piano tuner, I have to say that most of the people I have ever met who claimed to specialise in boogie were among the most appalling musicians I have ever come across, and they had no concept of the difficulty involved in playing boogie well. As for blues, it comes in so many shades and degrees that it is difficult to find a musician (especially a bass player) in East Anglia who will play along with me on all types.
