teaching piano

Hi,in october i completed my grade8 in piano, and my music teacher wants me to start teaching. at the moment i have 6 students! does anybody know if i have to register with the Irish acamedy of music to teach exams? or can i just go ahead and start teaching??

i would be gratefull of any advice, as i'm staring to teach it next week!!

I have no idea how the Irish system works; have they got a website you could contact/consult? On the other hand, I would bet that many teachers aren't registered; I'd start teaching and then enquire! Have fun; I admire anyone who can teach and stay sane!
