For me it would be the Bluthner as I like them However, it is not as simple as that the condition of both piano has to be taken into consideration one will be in better condition that the other get a tuner to look at them

A lot depends on personal taste as well - I'm biased because I have a Bluthner, but to me Bluthner and Bechstein are two different beasties. Barrie's right; get them appraised properly, but to save a bit of time I'd decide which one you prefer soundwise as there's no point having a tuner tell you the Bechstein's perfect if you'd secretly prefer the Bluthner anyway!

Close - asthma attack. So I either keep the long-suffering husband awake doing accordion impersonations or get up and see what you lot have been talking about...

Grit me teeth and think of the money...no, as long as I don't inhale it's all right! Dust is like a sleeping husband - only nasty when it's disturbed...It's only the houseproud owners who (literally) kill me when they squeal at the sight of the dust and then start flapping about with dusters, stirring it up a treat. Houseproud people are a complete mystery to me and cause me pain on many levels...
