Aeolian and Steck
Can anyone tell me about Aeolian and Steck grand pianos made or sold from hayes around the 1930's
Are they good manufacturer's?
Is an overstrung iron frame good or do I steer clear?
Tips on things I need to look for when buying would be most helpful!

They made good solid pianos, many of which were used as bases for pianolas, so are well capable of taking a beating. As ever, it depends on how they've been treated in the intervening years!
