Maybe Someone Out There Can Help Me, Or Direct Me To A Site That Can. My Parents Brought An Upright Piano From Italy To The Usa Some 50 Years Ago. I Have Inherited This Piano, And After Stripping A Layer Of Veneer Off Of The Entire Piano, I Found What May Be Quite A Treasure. It Is A "Carl Konisch" With A Beautiful Engraving Of Beatovin On The Face Above The Keys. Also The Words " Konigl Sach Hof Lieferani Dresden " On The Inside Of The Key Cover. Thanks

Do you mean Carl Ronisch? could the K be an R?
Post the serial number (if you can find it) on this forum and I am sure that someone here will help you.

Thanks for responding, Helmllwyn. You are correct!! Ronisch is the engrave name; along with " konigl dachs hof-lieferant Dresden." And the only number I could find was '5320', located on the inside right panel. Thanks again

If that's the serial number it's 1874.

I'd be more convinced if the number was on the frame or soundboard.
