piano buying - help U1 or C110A
I want to buy upright piano and I have to choose between secondhand yamaha U10BL (ref.4665334 for £2100) -I was told that it is 16 years old and a new yamaha C110A for £1860. I have to make decision tomorrow. I used to play when I was teenager for 3 years now I am 30 and I want to start taking the piano lessons again. Please advise me which one I should go for or may be I should choose something different???

Well for starters you can get a C110A for £1,599.00 from quite a few dealers in the UK, if you live up north Music Box if you live down south Countrywide Piano Centre, links to these sites are at the top of this page just to name 2
But for me the 18 year old U1 would be a better buy if in good condition, again most dealers are giving 5 year Guarantee on second hand Yamaha pianos around that age

Thanks, Barrie for reply. I think I would go for C110A because it is brand new (and within the price 1860 pounds I got also stool and delivery), the secondhand ones I have seen where from Japan and I am not realy ably to distinguish if they are in good condition or not. I live in North London and the shop I want to by from is called Markson Pianos in London. If I will be good in playing piano and have more knowledge about them, then one day I go for something bigger. (by the way I found Pleyel quite good-in my opinion- but their prices start from 6000 pounds and at this moment I dont have such money - are they good?)
