Kirkman of London upright piano

Post by KirkmanPiano »

Hi,

First post and I hope this is allowable.

My Father has a beautiful upright Kirkman of London Piano which has been in storage and unused for many years. I would love to find a home, re use or spares or as a repair training unit rather than disposal it is currently facing It may be a timber frame.

Based London, SE18. I have a couple of photos. Any advice or offers welcome.

Many thanks, Ben

Hi Ben,

I'm afraid trade would ask for money to take it away. That make of piano has no monetary value anymore. As for spare parts, they used common parts.

You could try a local scouts or church; they may be interested. If it's in good working order, you can contact your local piano tuner to see if anyone is interested in a free piano. You could also try recycling it.

Have a great Christmas
