help buying
I want some help in buy My first acoustic upright piano ? My budget is £4000 ,
I have not decided on new or refurbished yet, I think a refurbished might get me a better deal , what are peoples thoughts on buying without trying ? My location is UK Cheshire, I can't travel too far and it seems most piano shops are all over the country, I don't think I want to buy from a privet seller because I would like some warranty. But would be open to using Ebay for business sellers.

Look at.
CHESHIRE PIANOS

PARK PIANOS IN ATHERTON
To coin a phrase from the Americans, you're probably going to get more bang for your buck at Park Pianos in Addison.
If you go to secondhand Yamaha or kawia, avoid Pianos made before 1980? They tend to have issues, and they are expensive issues.

Re: help buying
When it comes to buying a piano, there are a few key factors to consider. First, you’ll want to determine the type of piano that suits your needs—whether it’s a digital, upright, or grand piano. Think about the space in your home, your playing level, and your budget. It's also important to play and hear the piano in person to ensure it feels and sounds right for you. Don't forget to consider the long-term value, as a well-made piano can last for decades with proper care.
