Hi, I have been to a showroom and they had a lovely modern a few years old Zimmerman piano ( made in Germany not China) it was originally bought from Harrods.
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of these Zimmerman pianos now owned by Bechstein ?
I’ve heard not so good stories regarding Zimmerman but I wondered if that was the older East German pianos or the ones now made in China. Thank you 😀

The old Est German Zimmerman pianos are bloody awful. The new ones are very nice for the money. I have a few clients that have them that needed some prep work but after that very nice, and they are quite stable tuning-wise. However, all the Zimmerman pianos I have on my round are 122 size
