Brooklyn Piano, Paterson, Sons & Co Ltd, Edinburgh
I have an old piano made by the Brooklyn Piano Co., London, and with “Paterson, Sons & Co.Ltd, Sole Agents, Edinburgh” on the right hand side under the lid. The piano was owned by my grandmother, who was born in 1901, (though perhaps she was not the first owner, as I don’t think they would have had money for brand new pianos, though I may be wrong) and it was gifted by her to her daughter, my mum, on my mother’s 21st birthday in 1951. It is the piano I learned to play on.
I wonder two things.
Firstly, how old might this piano be?
And secondly, are there any piano-lovers out there who
might want it and care for it, as sadly I don’t have room to house any more? No cost, I’m not looking to sell, just want to find it a nice home, where it can keep on living!
Thanks.

The dealer's name suggests something like 1920-1921.
