Dear all,
I'm investigating a Spencer piano which came with my flat, and I wonder if anyone could give me some help as to its age or provenance.
I know Spencer was established in 1884, and apparently ceased trading in 1942.
I have found what I presume is the serial number at the lower right base of the frame (10985), and couldn't find any other obvious numbers other than one on the metal frame, which I presume is the stamp from where it was cast (214 B).
I've attached some photos, and can look for other clues if helpful, although the piano is in a rather awkward place at the moment.
Many thanks
