E.Krauss Stuttgart - family heirloom age
Hi all
Brand new to this forum as i have a very old upright piano in a beautiful walnut finish which is a family heirloom. The brand is E.Krauss Stuttgart.
Firstly forgive me as i am not well dedicated with piano mechanics and parts so will explain it as best i can.
I am keen to find out the age (not interested in value).
As far as serial numbers go, there is a number written in pencil on a small wooden bracket on the left which supports the left pedal actuator rod which is 13585. Is this the serial number?
There is another number cast in the frame which is D.R.P. 147167.
Any help would be appreciated.
