F. Dorner & Sohn, Stuttgart Piano Serial #8613

Post by Zcal1 »

Hello - I was wondering if anyone had any information on this piano. I purchased a few years ago and really don’t know a lot about it. Thank you!

Thank you. It is in great condition, sounds beautiful and didn’t need to be tuned. My daughter is taking an interest so I see piano lessons in the near future - she is 6. I did find a vintage piano stool to use with it. I appreciate the attachment - I have a friend who speaks German; he will help with the translation. Apologies if the photos appear upside down. They were not like that initially.

Does the serial number stamp also include the year of manufacture? It appears on the bottom right to be 18X6? But it is not clear.
