JW Elliott Piano - help!

Hi all!
I have had a JW Elliott piano for around 25 years. It is a beautiful instrument, very easy to play and has a wonderful tone. Hardly ever requires tuning - our local tuner was amazed that after a period of living abroad (5+ years) it hadn't fallen out of tune at all.

Now I cannot find any info about this brand of pianos anywhere except for the fact that there was a JW Elliott shop in Welwyn Garden City in the 1920s, and JW Elliott himself gave a piano concert in St Albans in 1889. I've no idea how old the piano is, whether it is simply a new case on an old frame etc. The keys are extremely yellow but I don't think they're ivory. However, I could be wrong.
The frame inside is gold with no identifying marks other than a crest that looks like a bunch of letters on top of each other making them difficult to make out!
There's what I assume is a serial number on the top right edge of the case ELL731.
I have pics so will upload when I figure it out!

Elliott is a common surname, so it's not surprising that there have been at least 15 piano firms with that name, but I haven't found J.W. yet.
