Piano Removal London - Advice
Hi all,
Does anybody know of any particular reason getting a removal in London has become so difficult? I have asked 4 different companies for a quote, most of them has given a quote and since disappeared. I need to move my upright to my new flat on the 4th floor, but all the companies I've asked have no availability in the foreseeable future and it seems very odd to me. I managed to get one company to come over, review the stairwell at my building and said it's not a problem and they will do it but since gone silent.
I am in trouble with my previous landlord as he allowed me to keep the piano in the old flat until I can arrange a removal but it is now about a month since I've moved and he is getting annoyed.
Can anyone explain ? is there an unusual surge in piano removal requests that companies are not able to cope with? can anyone recommend a reliable removal company that specialises in old uprights and is willing to take a piano up 4 floors?
Thank you

I few companies went bust over lockdown, house moves have jumped over the last few weeks so most are overloaded with work.
Have you gone through the list on our site
