Hi,
A couple of years ago i bought a George Rogersand Sons piano from a reputable lady, who told me she had bougt if from an old convent/private boardings school (which i know). Unfortunatley my kids did not take up piano and now is the time to decide what to do with it. Can i get some advice please on it likely value/worth. The serial number on the inside is 29781. Thanks for any help you may have ot advice where i should start. It is in good condiiton.

The serial number suggests that the piano was made during the first world war, perhaps 1916. Unrestored pianos of this age have very little value here in England, but nobody anywhere can guess the value or condition of a piano without inspecting it on the spot and checking how well it holds in tune, so your local tuner is the best person to ask.
