Hello,
I recently visited a mature couple that had a Monington & Weston piano and they no longer used it. They asked if I wanted to buy it and I just wondered how much it was worth? I am in South Africa, the family didnt have an asking price, I said I would do some research. I saw the certificate of the original purchase and it was dated 1948. It needs to be tuned and it also has a little crack just above the keyboard cover, but still, I'm just interested in the value estimate. I have looked at Wikipedia for the history of the brand.
Looking forward to your feedback!

Hello
As it says in the blue banner at the top of this forum, we cannot place a value on any piano as an on site inspection is required. Your best option is to contact your local piano tuner and arrange for the piano to be properly assessed and valued.
Regards
Fiona
