Hello,
I was hoping someone here might be able to help me. I am running Native Instruments Akoustic Piano through a laptop for live sound(it's a 3 gigaherz 2gigs of ram comp). THe setup is keyboard controller into a firepod into the laptop back through the firepod(I assume) and out through directboxes wioth ground lift switches and into the board. The problem is, even though I have eliminated the ground loops, I can start to get Huge clicks or breaks in the sound. Oddly, the clicks almost act as though they have a deley effect on them as the fade out in such a manner. I was told this may be a clock issue with the firepod, but I'm afraid I've no idea what that means. I should point out that the this setup ran without such a problem in teh past and the only thing I can think of that has changed is that the program was updated recently, but the update was supposed to make the program easier for computers to manage.... THanks for any responses.
Cheers,
