CleanTalk Anti-Spam.

Post by Barrie Heaton »

Having to wage war Spammers over the years and not winning most of the time I was reading up on phpBB forums on any new ways I came across CleanTalk Anti-Spam post which uses a different approach. We installed CleanTalk Anti-Spam on 13 Jan 2019 and we are very happy with the results. Just this week it has blocked 1,671 spammers and made it easier for the 17 real visitors to registers this week, as there is now no Anti-Spam puzzles to work out, it was getting to a point that the puzzles were putting some visitors off.

Wile the moderators still have to do a little moderating nothing like the 70+ Spams a day we use to get so I have got the 3-year package

if you run a board or blog you may want to read up on CleanTalk Anti-Spam

Barrie

I did wonder why there was a massive reduction in notifications for us to deal with. Looks like its going to be worth the cost.

Thanks
