How to move a grand piano.
May seem a silly question but.....when we were moving a grand piano recently one person said we should lift as well as push just to take a little weight from the legs. Is it necessary to slightly lift ? If the answer depends on the floor covering I think the hall was fitted with a durable smooth felted surface covering.

Having 3 bods to move is a good idea, if the piano is moving more than a 3 meters as it will put a strain on the legs. If the piano is in a public building it should have an Aframe if it has an Aframe then not a problem with one bod moving it so long as they can control it
