Danemann piano
Hi I just bought a used Danemann piano from gumtree for £70 with seeing it first .I have read that Danemann is a fairly good make and I`m happy with my new purchase. . The name Danemann is on the centre of the lid but not on the frame inside, just a serial number 50668.
I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me about how old it might be as it looks quite modern.

1934 according to Pierce Piano Atlas which is fairly unreliable on British makes. They were fairly good at dating their pianos; get your tuner to take out the first key on the left hand side and there should be a date, either written on the key, or on a label underneath it.
I play for my own amazement...
