Has anyone in the UK been snowed in ?
Unusually for the west coast it has snowed for two days in a row. We are easily snowed in because we live at the top of a hill and with more than a couple of inches of snow I am unable to reverse the car out of the drive. Not enough snow this time around though.

No not stuck but it was bitterly cold on Thursday and Friday. Not enough snow around the edges of Morecambe Bay to prevent getting the car out of the drive. When the snow is too deep the car just slides down the fairly steep incline and would impact a garden wall.

Fortunately I had a light week this week and left it empty once I saw the forecast. Had THREE telephone calls this morning (weekends? What are they?) from people with sticking notes though - probably bowed lockrails, I expect.
I play for my own amazement...

Yes..friday evening...7ish..35 mile run back from the re-installation of a Bechstein grand..could not define the road in front of me...four mighty big hills to 'slide up'...lots of hazard warning lights in the valleys of each hill...my petrol light just flashed on with 20 miles and three hills to go......only pants..shirt and waistcoat...The King got me back.
Won't forget all that in a hurry. (never slid up a hill before....)
