Schmidt, Stuttgart piano
Good morning. I have a old upright piano.It needs repairs. The name is Schmidt, Stuttgart. Where there are the hammers there is a number "Oscar Kohler Berlin n.c. 391291" . Is it possible to know the age? Thank you so much.

The action (the working parts of the notes) was made by Oscar Kohler, and if you look at Kohler's numbers about two-thirds of the way down the page at

the number suggests that the piano was made in 1910. However, the the design of the outer casing is very plain, and has probably been modernised. For more idea how a 1910 piano would usually be, have a look at
