Hi all - I know it might be hard to gauge through a video / description, but we're trying to evaluate whether it is worth attempting to fix our Marshall & Wendell baby grand (no serial number found) or just invest the money in a new instrument.
In the video, I tried to demonstrate the problem - hitting ~50 or so of the keys result in a sound at first, but repeated strikes (or playing softly) does not make a sound. The hammers move, but they do not move far enough. The key recovers shortly after having the problem.

The inside of the piano itself is quite dusty and smells musty, so I'm not sure if that factors into the assessment of the piano's overall condition.
Thanks in advance!
