Hi there - I am new to this forum and have been searching for information about Baldwin upright pianos on the web and have found very little good information.
I am hoping that someone may be able to help me here.
I am looking to buy a new piano and where I live (Gibraltar), the nearest piano shop to me has a Baldwin Upright model BJ 118D - the price is OK, but I have seen more negative comments about Baldwin than I have good, particularly with regard to the uprights.
The piano is from 2011 or thereabouts and in new condition and looks very nice, and seems to play very well from video the dealer has sent to me.
I was wondering if anyone here has owned this model or similar, and can provide me with some hands on experience as to whether this would be a good purchase in terms of quality of the build and performance of such a piano.
I am grade 4 level and planning to buy and keep for life.
Many thanks!
Chris
