William Lea's firm became "Ltd." around 1905, and the firm disappears from my lists around 1930. Dates of numbers are not available for this firm. See

The frame markings I have on file include various forms of 214 encircled from about 1928, but the 1928 has an A as well, so that's probably a rough date, one of his later pianos. Who really made it will probably remain a mystery. See
