Piano key

Post by Mrshilly »

Hi there

Does anyone know if there's a place on the web/out there that sells keys to lock up a piano?

I have inherited a piano, which has a lock, but no key. It's a spencer piano. Oldish.....

It would be nice to be able to lock it when annoying children are about!!

Mrshilly

Welcome to the piano forum.

I have for purchase new piano keys for locking the fallboard on upright pianos.
They are for the standard fitting lock on all types of upright pianos.
If you click on my aatuners website below, my phone number is on there to exchange details over the phone.
I can send a key to you next day after payment and address details. Only £10 including UK postage.
Regards
Colin

Most tuners carry them--or should do
Our mission in life is to tune customers--not pianos.

Any fool can make a piano-- it needs a tuner to put the music in it
