yamaha p112n where to sell ?

Post by Bewildered »

Dear Barry

You kindly advised me (around 6 months ago) on buying a piano, i settled on a yamaha P112n from a well - reputed dealer in Stoke - on - Trent, and we have been very happy with the choice. However due to changes in circumstance we are moving abroad very soon and i do not feel it would be viable to ship the piano. Could you please advise me on where best to sell the piano, we bought it late november 2004, new under warranty etc, it was tuned in january and has not been moved since we purchased it. it is still in pristine condition and sounds great. Any idea's or advise would be greatly appreciated :?:

First of all shipping a piano overseas is not as expensive as it use to be
Unfortunately you will take a big loss as you will be competing with the discounters of new pianos and it is the worst time of the year to sell. You can sell in on our site
http://www.uk-piano.org/used-pianos-for-sale/index.php for free, you can place it on here as well www.pianos.co.uk but they charge try your local papers, music teacher the free notice boards in your local supper market

Depending how long you intend to stay abroad what about letting a relative store it for you

Good luck
