Produktiv - Genossenschaft :

My German is not that good, but I thought that phrase just meant 'Production Co-operative' ?

German experts please?

Erste Productiv

Yes, and ERSTE is just a word, meaning FIRST, but together, they are the name of a firm. Wien is, of course, Vienna, not Germany, and I have no particular access to viennese information.
"Erste Productiv-Genossenschaft der Klaviermacher" were established in 1873, and still existed in 1928, but then, you knew that!

Valuation

Post by Bill Kibby »

As it says at the top of the forum page, the first item you see when you come onto this forum, no-one anywhere will give you a valid, unconditional valuation without on-the-spot inspection by a tuner-technician. How could we possibly know how much a piano we have never seen would be worth in a country we've never been to?
