It looks like something from the sixties, but the photos are not clear, and there is very little in the way of clues in the design. Louis Renner is famous as a maker of piano actions - the working parts of the notes - but not as a piano maker. If you search for Renner piano on Google Images, you will see piano actions.
I imagine that a piano factory bought up the rights to the name.

Given its age, it is likely that the owner and/ex-owner(s) have hade repairs or overhaul to the piano?
I'm deciding between a 15 year old Challen (Malaysia made?) and this; both same price. What would be your opinion if I may ask?

Nobody anywhere can guess the value or condition of a piano without inspecting it on the spot, and tuning it, so your local tuner is the best person to ask.
