Help Please! Thompson's Easiest Piano Course

The Fanny Waterman and Marion Harewood books are excellent - First Piano Lessons? Can't remember, but the first book has a huge black & white picture of a piano keyboard taking up most of the cover. That said, it's over 20 years since I worked in a music shop, but I have seen it on(and moved it off the top of) millions of pianos as I beetle about tuning so it must still be available. It's thorough but moves fast enough to keep a 12 year old busy!

I reqularly use John Thompson with under 10s but once they get to around grade 2 or about 10 / 11 + I have been switching to PianoTime. They have just bought out a new version. The red, book 2 is great from grade 1 - 2 and the yellow, book 3 grade 2 +. The blue book 1 is good for older, secondary school beginners.

I have also tried, but not liked, Chester's Easiest Piano Method and the Fanny Waterman Adult Couse. Piano Time is by far the best form these.
