Yamaha Pianos Made in Europe
Serial Number Starting By E
Hello there, I'm trying to find a list of serial numbers and years for Yamaha pianos made in Europe, UK, which start by E. All I can find are lists for other countries of manufacturing.
Could anybody please let me know where to find this information for UK made Yamaha pianos?
Many thanks

All I can tell you is that at the end of 2004, Yamaha pianos made by Kemble UK were in the range E315000 to E319000.
Is there a date on top of the action rail?

I was looking for a list to help me date second hand Yamaha UK pianos, so I don't have a specific date. I'm considering a couple pianos and was expecting better public information. Why wouldn't Yamaha UK give this information in their website I cannot understand. They do it in their USA website, mentioning all their manufacturing places but the UK.

I spend most of my time with my head in the 1800s, but it is quite possible that someone else on the forum may have an answer for you.
