Have a client with a "Crane & Sons" upright although only a straight-strung have just had it re-polished - as it`s been in the family from new. Any idea of the actual makers of these anyone please? I believe Kennards made some instruments for dealers to badge as they pleased .......

Unfortunately, it isn't always possible to know who the wholesalers are, there were several. Certainly some were made by Kennard, Harold, Cremona, or Clarence lyon, as mentioned at
