Hobart M. Cable piano--age?

Post by biggvil »

I have a Hobart M. Cable piano #23373.... I am trying to find out as much as I can about it. (age, manufacture, etc...) because I don't know a thing about pianos. What is the best way to know if it is worth repairing or not?

Piano Manufacture

Post by biggvil »

I have been told that my piano was manufactured by in La Porte, Indiana by Hobart M. Cable, but mine says "Hobart M. Cable, Chicago" on the soundboard inside the piano. Was Hobart M. Cable ever in Chicago or was there another company that manufactured pianos using that name?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Art
